Arabic language computing research

While surfing,I stumbled on this research of a new kind... I find it as an amazing  effort,unique work,awesome idea and a milestone for muslim learners and researchers and philosophers....This reasearch is going in Leeds university supervised by Eric Atwell. The Language research group in the School of Computing has an ongoing interest in corpus-based research on Arabic. Language research in Computing is also known as Natural Language Processing , Computational Linguistics , or Language Engineering . Central to their research is the computational modelling of language data; a CORPUS is a text dataset representative of the language to be analysed. Latifa Al-Sulaiti has developed a new free-to-download Arabic corpus, the Corpus of Contemporary Arabic; Andy Roberts has developed a free-to-download open-source concordance tool for analysis of Arabic corpus texts, aConCorde; Majdi Sawalha has developed an Arabic morphological analysis tool to extract Arabic word root; Nora Abbas has developed a Quran "search for a concept" tool and website, Qurany; and Kais Dukes is developing an online annotated linguistic resource which shows the Arabic grammar, syntax and morphology for each word in the Holy Quran, the Quranic Arabic Corpus.  Part of the effort is Quranic Arabic Dependency Treebank (QADT)For details.logon to http://www.comp.leeds.ac.uk/arabic/ or http://corpus.quran.com.jsp

The Quranic treebank is an effort to map out the entire grammar of the Quran by linking Arabic words through dependencies. The linguistic structure of verses is represented using mathematical graph theory. The annotated corpus provides a novel visualization of Quranic syntax using dependency graphs.
